Deniz’s passion is animals, especially birds. In his spare time Deniz loves to take nature photographs.

Deniz believes that we can take better care of the animals and the planet we all call home.

Starting in 2016, Deniz has done fundraisers every year, selling nature photographs and cards.  He raised more than $10,000 for supporting the Seattle Audubon Society, TeamSeas, TeamTrees, BirdNote and World Wildlife Fund.  In 2022, he raised money to remove 1 ton of trash from the ocean! He was featured on BirdNote Live in 2018.

He held his first photo exhibit at Cafe Ladro in Kirkland in February 2018 and at Coffeemind, Seattle in 2020.  Also, in 2018, he was the youngest photographer at the Kenmore Art Show and the youth category winner of the Puget Sound Bird Fest Photo Contest.

Deniz has been volunteering for Eastside Audubon since he was 7: he worked in their booth at Salmon Days in Issaquah, assisted with bird crafts at Molbak's in Woodinville, participated in World Migratory event and donated his bird cards for their Birdsong Soiree Fundraiser.
